Due to the vast size of our restaurant, we do not always have both dining areas open concurrently. Please contact us for more information on where we are serving on any given day.

The Cellar

As the Smith Flat House's most popular dining location, the Cellar combines an eclectic atmosphere with unique 1800's history to bring you a memorable dining experience. Our Cellar once served as a bustling gold mine, with several mine entrances still visible today. It is truly a one-of-a-kind space!

We typically serve in the Cellar during the colder months, peak-heat summer days, or when we have private events occupying the courtyard.

The Cellar is underground and only accessible via stairs, so please specify when making reservations if you or your guests are not able to make this descent. We are more than happy to accommodate!
